Hepatic dysfunction 250 cholestatic jaundice, hepatic cholestasis and acute cytolytic hepatitis have been reported.

Hemic and Lymphatic Systems: Anemiaincluding hemolytic anemiathrombocytopeniaamoxicillin 250 mg per 5 ml, thrombocytopenic purpura, eosinophilialeukopeniaand agranulocytosis have been reported. These reactions are usually reversible on discontinuation of therapy and are believed to be hypersensitivity phenomena. Tooth discoloration brown, yellow, or gray staining has been reported.

Most reports occurred in pediatric patients. Discoloration was reduced or eliminated with brushing or dental cleaning in most cases. Concurrent use of amoxicillin and probenecid may result in increased 250 prolonged blood levels of amoxicillin. Appropriate monitoring should be undertaken when anticoagulants are prescribed concurrently. Adjustments in the dose of oral anticoagulants may be necessary to maintain the desired level of anticoagulation.

Allopurinol The concurrent administration of allopurinol and amoxicillin increases the incidence of rashes in patients receiving both drugs as compared to patients receiving amoxicillin alone. It is not known whether this potentiation of amoxicillin rashes is due to allopurinol or the hyperuricemia present in these patients.
Other Antibacterials Chloramphenicol, macrolides, sulfonamidesand tetracyclines may interfere with the bactericidal effects of penicillin.
This has been demonstrated in vitro; however, the 250 significance of this interaction is not amoxicillin documented, amoxicillin 250 mg per 5 ml.

Do not stop taking it just because you feel better. If you stop taking the medicine, some bacteria may survive and cause the infection to come back, or your condition may re-occur or get worse. You should make sure you have several drinks of water each day unless told otherwise by your doctor.
